Introducing the new way to shop vintage goodies
Vintage drops, nostalgic finds, and the most interesting underground tastemakers.
Welcome to our little corner of the internet featuring all things vintage. Allow us to introduce ourselves:
We're the team behind Clued—the link in bio for independent vintage sellers.
Each week, we'll feature select upcoming drops from our community of vintage treasure hunters and highlight real, authentic people pushing the boundaries of style and taste.
Come for the unique goods dropping each week, stay for the stories behind the people and their finds. (And maybe consider claiming your own Clued shop link? It’s ridiculously easy—and free!)
Thanks for dropping in. Get cozy. We hope you stay a while.
The Drop
A peak behind Clued’s upcoming MRKT online event - this one’s gonna be all about Kids Vintage.
If you’re on the hunt for something special to gift your kid or mama friend, Lulilu Retro & Vintage caught our eye with her vast collection of vintage Oshkosh B’Gosh kids overalls.
Apparently, the trend of dressing like your mom started with dressing like your dad, when Oshkosh made the first pint-sized version of its hickory-striped denim bib overalls for railroad workers and farmers over 100 years ago.
You can check out Lulilu’s upcoming drop, alongside drops from a cast of other stylish curators at our next MRKT event - this Thursday, Aug. 1st @ 12pst.
The Archive
This week we’ve been watching summer styles of the 70’s—elegant, classic, coastal—make their way across our socials.
Kayci, Clued’s community curator, uncovered these images of her mom when digging through boxes of old family photos that perfectly capture the vibe of the era. Snapped on a sailboat in Cedar Point in 1979, Kayci’s mom’s outfit feels like one you could easily recreate with the 90s-inspired vintage basics from Emily Ann Living.
And this jumpsuit she wore in Los Angeles in 1978 has a tie-front detail reminiscent of this stunning jumpsuit that Inspirit Vintage snagged from Female Hysteria Vintage recently featured in Mildew Magazine.
Let this serve as your friendly reminder to raid your elders’ closets this summer.
The Icon
This week’s most interesting person in vintage.
Paul Stafford, a celebrity hairstylist who moonlights as a vintage style king, might just be the most interesting middle-aged man on the internet right now.
His feed is full of stories from his travels and styling celebrities. Somehow, he always finds the perfect backdrop to pose.
Pass it along
Wha’d you think? (No, really: we want to know!)
We’re just getting started and trying to build something interesting, but there’s a lot of room for improvement. We’d love to hear what you’d like to see and how we can get better at this thing.
Also, we’d really love to share your finds. Got something good? Set up your shop and share it on Clued.
Toodles,
Alex, Kayci, and the Cluedies
